Youth Riders (Ages 5+)
Here at Hoof to Heart our goal is long-term equestrian development. We want to give students the tools to be safe, competent and confident in their horsemanship skills for years to come. From riding to stable management, ground handling, nutrition and hoof care.
Our program focuses on horsemanship as a whole, not solely on the riding component.
Listed below are some of the valuable skills your child will develop in our program:
- Fine motor skills

Students will learn the basics of grooming, tacking and riding their horses. We will cover topics such as horse anatomy, stable management, emergency medical care, general maintenance, feed and nutrition, barn etiquette, and more.
Although competition is not our central focus, we offer the opportunity for students to compete locally and regionally when available. Hoof to heart has established a great reputation for its learning curriculum, but its also known for its sense of community and fellowship.
Students of all ages and backgrounds build bonds and friendships that go beyond far beyond the barn.
